FUN FACTS ABOUT LAUREN
Lauren Mallon
RP, Founder & Clinical Director
Lauren founded Lauren Mallon Psychotherapy in 2022 and brings over seven years of clinical experience to her work. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Ulster in Derry, Northern Ireland and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is committed to ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring her work remains grounded in up-to-date, evidence-based practices that best support her clients.
Alongside her private practice, Lauren is part of the care team at The Centre for Mental Health and Sport, where she supports national and Olympic-level athletes. She is passionate about working with high performers and helping to strengthen the often-overlooked mental side of sport.
Lauren also enjoys contributing to wider conversations around mental health. She has hosted her own webinar, focused on making therapy feel more accessible and less intimidating, and has been invited onto podcasts and collaborative webinars with other professionals. Through this work, she hopes to continue challenging stigma and creating more open, honest dialogue around mental health and therapy so more people feel comfortable to explore it.
