meet the team
At Lauren Mallon Psychotherapy, our therapists each bring their own unique passions, training, and lived and professional experience to their work. This allows us to provide thoughtful, individualized care while matching clients with a clinician whose skills and approach best fit their needs and goals. While each clinician brings their own unique strengths and personality, we all share the same goal: helping you feel understood, supported, and empowered to create lasting change.

Lauren founded Lauren Mallon Psychotherapy in 2022 and brings over seven years of clinical experience to her work. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Ulster in Derry, Northern Ireland and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is committed to ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring her work remains grounded in up-to-date, evidence-based practices that best support her clients.
Alongside her private practice, Lauren is part of the care team at The Canadian Centre for Mental Health and Sport, where she supports national and Olympic-level athletes. She is passionate about working with high performers and helping to strengthen the often-overlooked mental side of sport.
Lauren also enjoys contributing to wider conversations around mental health. She has hosted her own webinar, focused on making therapy feel more accessible and less intimidating, and has been invited onto podcasts and collaborative webinars with other professionals. Through this work, she hopes to continue challenging stigma and creating more open, honest dialogue around mental health and therapy so more people feel comfortable to explore it.

Work beyond the therapy room. Bringing mental health into real spaces.
Mental health doesn't just belong in the therapy room. Alongside one-on-one counselling, we're passionate about sharing practical, evidence-based mental health education through workshops, podcasts, community events, and collaborations. We love creating spaces that spark meaningful conversations, reduce stigma, and help more people access tools that support their wellbeing every day.
